Player's for Peace

  It is not often that I wonder how different my life would have been if.  But this tour has to make me wonder.  If I hadn't been so violently kicked out of the Cow Palace by Mr. Graham himself would the Cure be my favorite band?  Little things like that.  How many times have I been fired since then?  All similar experiences.  27...maybe 26 ish.  I never payed much attention to my favorite band again until I was walking the Avon 3 Day in the 2000's and heard Beautiful Day and remembered what love felt like.  Sick, sad, sorry, but true.  I love U2 and hardly listened to them for a couple of decades due to shear weird life experience...I think it was a flashlight incident.  The most popular band ever?  Thank goodness I like a lot of other bands.  It's good to hate for no good reason when it doesn't matter that much.  Bono makes me gag.  And I only missed Larry the drummer really.  No regrets.
