Gille Simon what's up with the French guy?

Granted most people probably couldn't name any of these guys....but these are the top players in the Men's Association of Professional Tennis players from 2008. Gilles Simon is the second from the left in between Davidenko from Russia and Andy Murray from Great Britain. Guess who's home country is hosting the second Grand Slam of the year? The French Open draw comes out on Friday. Gilles is the current #1 French men's player and #7 over all in the world rankings. I could be wrong, but I don't even think the French know who this guy is. On the Tennis Channel they have very little or nothing to say about him. I am intrigued by this as it is the French Open, he is a top 10 player, and he's really cute! I'm going to be watching to see how he does and if there is going to be more buzz about him. Everybody who follows the ATP World Tour will remember this year as the year Rafael Nadal won the comeback of the year award and earned the year end #1 ranking. Rafa is amazing!
